“When I do my job properly, people that were afraid or hesitant to smile will be walking around with a perm-grin. As a proud West Kelowna dentist, I feel like I am really changing people’s lives, not just their appearance. My goal and my priority is to help my clients live better, more fulfilled lives. And that starts with taking your smile and making it ‘you’, only better.”
Dr. Shauna Palmer received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1993 from the University of Alberta. After 9 years of practice in Kamloops, B.C., she turned her attention to the mecca of cosmetic dentistry, Beverley Hills, California. It was here she perfected her art and gained endless training and proficiency in creating the perfect balance between form and function.
Her journey into cosmetic dentistry began with her world-class training at the famous Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies – commonly known and referred to as LVI Global. Since 2000, continuous training at LVI Global has allowed Shauna to become a Physiologic/Neuromuscular dentist. Physiologic/Neuromuscular dentistry involves the marriage of cosmetic dentistry in conjunction with balancing the teeth, jaw muscles, jaw joints and body posture.
The love of the Okanagan Valley saw the return of Dr. Palmer in 2007 where she quickly purchased a practice of her own in West Kelowna.
